Access DC New Sign-On Notification Email
November 3 2022 9:31pmYou will receive an Access DC “New sign-on notification” email when you sign-in from a new or unrecognized device, browser, or application. These notification emails are sent to make you aware when we detect an Access DC sign-in that differs from usual.
You should expect to receive a notification under the following scenarios:
- When you sign-in from a different device (e.g., from a tablet or phone instead of a laptop)- When you sign-in from a different location (e.g., from home instead of from work)
- When you sign-in from a different browser (e.g., from Firefox instead of Chrome)
- When you sign-in with your VPN on instead of with VPN off
Generally, you should not worry about receiving a new sign-on notification email at the time of a known sign-in. However, if you did not sign-in to Access DC at the time of the notification email, your account may be compromised. If you feel your account may be compromised, please fill-out the Access DC Help form select the "Report Suspicious Activity" link in the notification email and we will investigate further.
