Follow the steps below to update your multifactor authentication phone number. 

Step 1: Sign In to Access DC

Navigate to: https://accessdc.dcra.dc.gov and sign in with your current credentials. Upon successful sign in you will be placed on the Access DC dashboard. From the dashboard, expand the options menu by clicking your name in the top-right of the screen. Select Settings.

 
Step 2: Remove SMS Authentication

Select the Remove SMS Authentication button in the Extra Verification section of the profile page to reset your MFA. 

Select Yes at the confirmation prompt. 

Step 3: Reset SMS Authentication

Select the Set up button in the Extra Verification section of the profile page and follow the instructions to setup a new phone number to receive MFA codes via text. 

Select My Apps in the left navigation pane to return to the Access DC dashboard after you have completed the MFA reset.
